Tired of hearing Maxine moan about missing the beach, Russ stepped up to the plate and off we went to Atlantic City for a weekend of fun, sun, and casino action!
Take a Lowcountry girl away from the ocean for a few months and a sight like this will make her squeal with delight!
We had the best time walking along the shore and kicking in the surf.
Russ, being the curious thing he is, even made a few little discoveries.
Now that is a big Horseshoe Crab!
Although we thought all of the fuss about the Trump Plaza was a bit trumped up, we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out at their bar right on the beach.
We also found a great little barbeque place near the Tropicana.
As much as we wanted a few photos in the casino, they have these funny little rules about that. All in all it was a great weekend and we plan on making the trip back again in the near future.
